I have heard a lot of hype about this TV series which airs on FX. Has anybody seen it? I am thinking about getting the first season on DVD but wanted to find out what your thoughts are on this show?

one of the best shows on tv easily. the cast is very very good and the writers are too. i have watched season 1-3 on dvd and am eagerly awaiting next months release of season 4 on dvd so i can bust through it before season 5 starts in january!

watch it, you will NOT regret it.

another fantastic cop show i'd recommend renting if you havent seen it is the wire (possibly the best tv show ever imo, although twin peaks and maybe a couple of others give it a run for its money)

i thought there was a thread on this already, but couldnt find it. must have been lost in the move(s)

anyway, i am a HUGE fan of this show. havent missed one episode since it came on TV. i've even gone as far as requesting tuesday nights off since this show came on. i cant miss it!!
and i certainly have a boner for the return on Jan 10th. cannot wait. my boss nearly scheduled me that night but i told her no fucking way!!
this season is looking pretty fucking great according to the commercials.

Thanks for the replies. I followed your advice, rent it out all the previous seasons and I can honestly say that it is one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I am hooked on it!!

alright, well whitaker is awesome, so i'll let that slide...


we dont get this show here without having satellite, so i'm trying to find the first episode on torrents, but none of them are very active. anyone have episode 501 and would be able to share it?

its worth waiting for the torrent even if it takes a while, you have till tuesday before another new ep

season opener was pretty good, i kinda hoped for more. won't type any spoilers

managed to get it via torrent...only took 2 days to download lol.

nice start to the season, if not a bit slow. hope to god they dont nail the task force...
