so all the sudden tuesday i get sick. i've been blowing my nose every 90 seconds since i woke up yesterday and my nose is so fucking raw i had to buy some vaseline to put on my crackled dried up nose skin. i mean it literally hurts. so im repeating the process of blowing my nose and re-applying the jelly over and over and fucking over. i dont get sick often but when i do its a goddamned doozy.

anyone else feeling under the weather?

yes. same shit here. stuffy head. boogers freeze then when you blow your nose it hurts. wake all shitty and red eyed. ya know, im calling in sick, thanks jibs, i thought i was just feeling a bit of the cold.

i went to work tonight despite feeling like total shit. i was fuckin up tables left and right. eventually my manager took notice and asked what was wrong. i told him i'm not one to whine about being sick but i was obviously not doing anyone any good by being there. he let me leave early. thank god.

I had bronchitis about a month ago. First time I've been sick like that in almost a decade. Nastiness. So last night I start getting a fever and my throat was getting soar. I drank a bunch of orange juice and H2O, walked around in a robe and just took it easy. Turned in a bit early as well. I feel much better this morning, but I can tell the funk is still lurking over me, ready to pounce if I let my guard down. I hate the fackin winter sometimes because of it. I never get sick in the warm months of the year.
