As some of you might know, we started a spin-off Forum for our Spanish speaking members of Mercuryserver a year ago: www.mercuryserver.com.ar . After the .ar website was setup (using free phpbb Forum software) we changed a few months later our Forum software on Mercuryserver to a commercial product from vbulletin. Since then, we have two boards using different tools and Forum Software and because of this (but also other reasons), we have come to the decision to integrate a local Forum for our Spanish speaking members on Mercuryserver so everything can happen under one roof in Future.
The website www.Mercuryserver.com.ar will be closed in two weeks from now and the board members will be invited to come over here and join Mercuryserver in case they do not have an account already. We have setup an own Forum for Spanish speaking members and I hope you will welcome them all and most important; treat them well and with respect. Besides the local Forum for Spanish speaking countries, I have also setup a section for German speaking members. The reason to do this is obvious as it is my Mother language.
If we get enough requests to install more local forums, we will do so. Either drop me a PM or E-Mail or request your local Forum here. Please understand that a local Forum only makes sense if enough people will visit it. If I can’t bring enough Germans over besides the ones that already are registered, the German section will be closed and it will be the same for every other Local Forum that will be setup in the Future.
Local languages will only be accepted in local Forums. The rest of the talking will still happen in English. I hope for you support and ask you to leave the Local Forums alone if you do not have something meaningful to say. As long as both sides do it with respect and in fun, you are welcome to participate in the local Forums but the local Forums are not the new playground for silly jokes so please help to make it a comfortable space for our Spanish and German speaking members and I trust everybody of you to support us.
