How complete is this list expected to be? If he's not on the final list, does that suggest that he didn't use steroids, or just that he didn't get them from the people cooperating with this investigation?

It would be great to see his name cleared, so I can bring that McGwire memorabilia out of hiding. Don't see it happening, though...

you know what's really fucked up toasty? channel 2 fox fucking stl took a false report that was made up this morning and leaked that included pujols name and took a team of dumbfuck reporters to pujols restaurant today and started asking people on their way out if they would continue to support pujols, and would continue to eat at his restaurant, based on him being a cheater and a roid user- BEFORE the real list even came out with his name NOT on it.

what a bunch of fucking idiots. if pujols doesn't file a lawsuit, i'll be shocked.

regarding the whole list, and major league baseball in general- i listened to bud selig's press conference and all i don't think i've ever had my intelligence insulted as much as i did to today listening to that piece of crap.

i hope the feds take over, come in, and clean house. i knew what the report was going to say, but i'm shocked (but not surprised) at the weak ass response by mlb.

You know what else? I've actually seen stories about how there were earlier stories on the news that falsely named players who were not actually on the list, and those stories don't mention Pujols. Pretty lame, IMO. If you're going to call someone out like that and then you find out you're wrong, you are obligated to make it right.

i could give you the cliff's notes to his speech, but i'd rather you watch it somehow on tv tonight, or find it on youtube, or the internet or something and know this:

1. bud selig is an owner
2. bud selig is the commissioner of baseball, he turned his head as much as everyone involved has. he's in on it too.

then listen to him talk about the good of the game, and how he's going to do something, how he spearheaded this whole thing (which is bullshit, mitchell had no cooperation from mlb) and blah blah fucking blah. and he's really not going to do ANYTHING. it was the biggest whitewash i've ever heard. what a jerkoff. he's going to "ask donald pher to help him" - YOU'RE THE COMMISSIONER OF BASEBALL YOU PUSSY, WITH A REPORT LIKE THIS, YOU DON'T ASK SHIT, YOU TELL.

Guy needs to lose his job effective immediately. Nowhere in our society could you be the head of an organization, have a scandal like this blow up on your watch, and you be on the take the entire time, and not lose your job. He won't tho, because he's in with the rest of the owners.

Today is really fucking annoying for people who really love baseball. And again, it's not that we didn't know there were juicers in the game, it's the response from mlb when the smoking gun is laid i your lap.
