For all the Xbox fiends out there, HALO2 went gold last week. The official launch date is Nov 9th... and I've already pre-ordered by Limited Collector's Edition (platinum case, 2-disc) Halo 2 + DVD for only 5 extra bucks!!!

ALSO, I revisited my Halo 2 Trailer from the 2004 E3, and the thing kicks ass!!! I cannot wait to play that mo-fo!

Are you getting a copy? Will you play with XBOX LIVE?

There is NO PC version of Halo2 EVER!

Also, a leaked French copy has been spreading online... and the BBC reports that Microsoft'll sue anyone/everyone who obtains a copy!

GTA is okay... it's the same game, but different cities. Halo 2, on the other hand, with the Xbox Live feature, means you can truly multi-player against the rest of the world.

Now THAT is something to rave about!!!

The PC version of GTA can do the same thing. One of my buddies plays it online all the time and loves it, but I don't have any desire to play online because the world is just plain huge. The only games I own for PS2 are the GTA series... that's all I care about. It's sad

I have been at a pre-release party for press - they set up 20 X-boxes and you could play one level. It's awesome and the multiplayer mode just rocks!

i don't see what the big deal about halo was/is
not really that innovative, shitty weapons, no bots for multiplayer...
and wayyy too short on story mode

I bought a presale for it on Tuesday. Cost me $5 down, and it gets deducted from the total price... so it was a free presale with a guaranteed name on it when it comes in stock. Until then, all I have left to do in Vice City is the Ambulance, Pizza Boy, Firetruck missions, and find 1 hidden package & 1 unique jump. I think I'm officially stuck.
