Well Israel yet again has told the Americans who is the real boss. Obama asked for a settlement freeze so that negotiations could even begin so what did Israel do?? They decided to build 1600 new settlements. So now the question remains;

What will Obama do?

He can't just take this slap in the face from Israel becasue it will embolden Israel to attack Iran knowing that the US will follow Israel like its personal attack dog. If I was Obama I would bomb the settlements. That would send a direct message to both sides that "I'm not fucking around and you guys better listen when I talk."

This isnt the first and sure never going to be the last of Israel or Palestine doing things to jeopardize peace talks in their region. It started long before Obama was around and is going to keep going on until the end of time unfortunately.

Whats going to happen: The US is going to condem the action like they already have, and then try to fix the situation with more talks...and on....and on....and on...

Have you ever had two dogs that hate each other? Sometimes you need to smack them both around to them to listen.

When you think about it the only reason this keeps going on is because nobody does anything about it.

I would give 24hrs notice to the people in the settlements that it was going to be bombed because I'm not for killing people. And then 24hrs later I would bomb it.

Any US bombs that accidentally kill a civilian in Afghanistan and Iraq and we should hang Obama and the US gov't out by their throats, but bombing Israeli (and the obvious accidental casualties that will occur) is ok?

The only thing you want to hear is something off the wall, like your suggestion above of bombing the country, which will never happen, so what do you want to hear? Why would you ever think the US would bomb its main ally in the Middle East for something trivial like this? This isn't something to be about. How about suggesting a solution which might have an actual chance of occuring?
