So last night I was checking out some of the classical music in GT5, when the music suddenly stopped. I thought nothing of it, was about to switch my PS3 off anyway. But then my PS3 wouldn't switch off properly. Think I had to switch it off at the back. Today I tried to load up GT5 but the disc doesn't show. If I put the disc in I can't hear the motor spinning up. Tried another PS3 disc and a PS2 game as well as a CD. None of them work. Games loaded off the HD work just fine.
Tried a file system restore and default settings restore. Nothing on both.
Think I already know the answer to this tbh and the drive motor has gone. But thought I'd throw it out here.
