Re: teaching yourself or dj school?
I say learn yourself. Why spend money to someone else when all they are going to do is teach you their technique. Create your own technique, your own sound etc. That way when you get the process down you can say you accomplished it.Mutations presents Change The Music

Re: teaching yourself or dj school?
Techniques and business secrets are never sold, no matter how much you pay to acquire them! There will always be hidden and unrevealed tips and tricks just fro the few...
How you acquire them? By practicing, experimenting and being creative. Then you'll manage to be one of a kind, because you will have your own style, far above from any limits and any imagination. It will be yours and only yours.
So my modest opinion is to try it your own way and learn new tricks by yourself. The initial principles for mixing are the same for everyone, but it is in your hand to be unique and creative. Nobody can teach you that. Nobody except for yourselfComment
